2027 Connoisseur Cup Season Schedule 12th Annual
The Connoisseur Cup is more than a competition — it's a living scientific case study. Every entry is tested, measured, and scored with real data, building a transparent record of quality across the season. At the same time, we celebrate and promote the counterculture that built this industry — the growers, the craft, the community that refused to be standardized.
Entry Requirements: All monthly Rec and Med entries must clear testing and go through METRIC.
We accept 8 entries per month, per division — flower, concentrates, edibles, Topicals, and oil carts — throughout the season.
Flower: Competitors enter 112 grams, a quarter pound, packaged into our 2027 Connoisseur Cup eighth jars that fill 32 Flower Judging kits, 8 eighths per kit. We may increase the entry to 224 grams, a half pound, as demand grows.
Concentrates: Competitors enter 32 grams, packaged into our 1-gram Connoisseur Concentrate jars, and distributed through up to 8 dispensary sponsor partners.
Judging: Kits are purchased by Connoisseur Cup Judges at participating Colorado dispensaries.
Each kit carries a scratch-off QR code that walks judges through the process step by step. All data feeds into an accumulation average. The top 3 in each division are recognized across our media platforms and qualify for the finals. The top 3 earn the title of 2027 Connoisseur Cup Champions.
Finals: Flower Finals: April 20th.
Concentrate Finals: July 10th.
